About Us
Teaching Staff In addition to extensive experience in the field of education for young children, each of the teachers of Prince of Peace Preschools and Kindergarten holds an academic degree in early childhood education, child development or a related discipline. Staff members are carefully selected, undergo continual training and are supervised in compliance with licensing standards.
Program Offerings Many different options are available for children in our preschool and kindergarten programs. Classes are available from 2 years, 6 months through 5 years old. Two day, three day, and five day classes are provided to meet the needs of our families. A Parents' Day Out (PDO) program every day allows for extended days for our children over 3 years old. PDO offers additional time for socialization and a nutritious lunch from 9:30am - 2:30pm. Please visit our Programs page for a full listing of classes offered.
Accreditation Our Preschool and Kindergarten is accredited by the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association (ELEA) and is licensed to operate by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) of the State of Illinois.
Admissions Policy Prince of Peace Preschool and Kindergarten makes available to students of any race, color, nationality or ethnic origin all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally associated with the school.
