Courses, Church Archives October 24, 2005 For Immediate Release PARABLES OF JESUS COURSE Schaumburg, IL. Parables of Jesus, Course begins Wednesday evenings, November 2 and continues for six weeks. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (ELCA) will be the site of the course which begins with an overview of the nature and character of the parables. Each week the class will focus on one of the major themes that the parables address. One session will focus entirely on the parable of the Prodigal Son. No text book is needed, emphasis will be on reading the parables as they appear in scripture and discussing them in class. Classes run 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Wednesday from November 2 through December 7th. Come to one class or all classes, new comers are always welcome.
