Experience the Spirit - Music for All Ages

The greatest gift to another is sharing one's time and talent. As followers of Jesus Christ we are asked to serve in mission to our neighbors to help them grow deeper in their faith in Christ. One of the greatest tools we have for this mission is God's gift of music. Join fellow brothers and sisters in making music at Prince of Peace and serve others, yourself and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Programs and regular rehearsal times are listed below.  Check the calendar for specific rehearsal dates.

In addition to the regularly scheduled choirs and instrumental ensembles, soloists and instrumentalists often use their musical talents to enhance the worship services.  The choirs frequently combine to provide special music for festival and seasonal services.  New members are always welcome!

Choral Programs

Grace Notes Choir

Vocal choir of our youngest cherubs, Kindergarten through 2nd grade

Rehearsal: Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. September through May

Joyful Noise Choir

Youth choir for 3rd through 8th graders

Rehearsal: Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. September through May

Adult Choir

Through the gift of music, the Adult Choir acts as worship leaders at the 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. services through hymnody and special music.  All voice types and experience levels are welcome, high school through adult. 

Rehearsal: Thursdays at 7:30 pm

Instrumental Program

Kid's Chimes

Children who wish to learn how to ring hand chimes are welcome to join.  All children 3rd grade and up are welcome!

Rehearsal:  Thursdays at 5:45 p.m.

Hand Bell Choir

Once a month, the Handbell Choir helps lead worship through the use of a three-octave Schulmark hand bell set.  High schoolers and adults with and without musical experience are welcome to join in "Ringing a new song unto the Lord."Director: Scott Uddenburg

Rehearsal: Tuesdays at 7:30 pm

Orchestra

Those who are gifted with musical ability are welcome to share their instrumental talents by offering special music or playing in an ensemble on Festivel or other Sunday mornings as announced. 

Crossroads Worship Band and Singers

The Crossroads band is made up of musicians whose gifts guide them to worship through contemporary music.
