Prince of Peace Lutheran Church offers meaningful Christian Education programs for every stage of life. Our Christian education is a continuous spiritual journey. Below is an overview of the education programs offered to the congregation as well as members of the community.
If you're new to the Bible or to the Lutheran faith, don't be shy. All are invited to participate in our welcoming and relaxed classes and groups. They are geared toward those who know little or nothing about the Bible as well as those who are well acquainted with it. For additional information on these programs, contact the church office at 847.885.7010 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Adult formus are held periodically throughout the year. See the News page and calendar for details.
The church of today needs and recognizes strong, knowledgeable leadership among the laity. Diakonia provides systematic training to adults during a two-year program of weekly classes in Bible, theology and church history as well as practical ministry. This course of study, combined with spiritual retreats and group interaction, helps train people for the many diverse tasks and opportunities to which Christ’s Great Commission directs them.
Ongoing Bible Studies and Discussion Groups
The Bible Studies listed below represent opportunities for discussion for adults within our congregation as well as members of the community. Please contact the church office at 847.885.7010 or email@example.com for more information. You can also pick up a schedule at one of the Welcome Desks.
