SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS
Watch for a mailing on
registration for this fallıs Sunday School, Faith Fest, and Confirmation.
THE WOMEN'S FRIDAY MORNING
BIBLE STUDY GROUP
will meet the first Friday in September (9:30 am -
11:00 am) and continue for 12 weeks, excluding the Friday after Thanksgiving.
The study will be "Galatians: Walking in God's Grace", the most
recent of the Christianity 101 Bible Study Series authored by Bickel and Jantz.
Galatians emphasizes that salvation is based on God's grace alone through
Christ alone. The authors' humorous approach to the study detracts not a bit
from the truth of the message. Rather, it provides a comfortable and rewarding
atmosphere for those who are new as well as those not-so-new to Bible study.
Galatians is as relevant today as when it was written. Martin Luther was so
fond of the book that he referred to it as "his wife." Well, you many
not be that fond of it, but try
it, you'll like it! Study guides are available in the church office. For more
information, contact Bettye Petersen. Phone: 224-569-3744. E-mail:
