LENTEN EVENTS 2010: “Faith Walk”

Week Four: Wednesday, March 17 – “Contagious Faith”

Faith is one of those things that are more caught than taught. Just being around someone who has faith can strengthen your faith. Hearing someone’s faith story can remind you of a similar episode in your own life. Hearing the words, songs and stories of faith can help you stay anchored in your own beliefs. By the same token, other people can be strengthened in their faith by being around you and by hearing your faith story.  Perhaps, someday, someone will even take God seriously for the first time in their life because of something you have said or done. As we talk about contagious faith, we’ll be inspired by a clip from the 2004 romantic comedy RAISING HELEN (John Corbett and Kate Hudson).
