Have you ever been bothered by doubts? (Who hasn’t?) Perhaps doubt is not the enemy of faith, but more like a long-lost cousin. Perhaps faith is strengthened and deepened by periods of doubt. Perhaps there are different types of doubt, some of which can actually help faith find new room to walk, stretch, and get some exercise. As we talk about faith and doubt this week, we’ll be inspired by a clip from Mel Gibson’s controversial portrayal, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST (James Caviezel, 2004).
