The primary focus of the Board of Stewardship is to initiate and create programs for the development of Biblically based stewardship attitudes in the members of the Congregation in regard to time, talents, and treasure.
Serving Opportunities
- Plan and prepare annual fall giving campaign; collect estimate of giving cards; procure and distribute offering envelopes.
- Update and utilize the talents and interests inventory database and share information with Nominating committee and other administrative boards about individuals who may meet specific ministry needs.
- Coordinate and promote a program for endowing the congregation through wills, bequests, foundations and other sources.
- Administer and promote a program to receive gifts and memorials and ensure that funds are allocated according to the donor’s wishes.
- Count the offerings for the congregation.
