Adult classes, on varying topics are offered during the week and on Sundays:

• Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 9:45.
• Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m
  A variety of classes are held that focus on different social, biblical and theological issues.

Sunday Morning Study
Led by Mark Thoms
Prince of Peace is offering this fall at 9:45 a.m. an Adult Akaloo Class. This class, led by Mark Thoms, is described as a "basic training" for Christian adults who are new or old to the Christian faith and anywhere in between. The program will cover the 30 most important questions people ask about their faith and will answer them in simple language anyone can understand. For more information, call Mark at 847.301.1230.

Luther and Lutheranism
A course with Pastor Myrom
Beginning on Wednesday, September 13, Pastor Myrom will be teaching a course on Luther and Lutheran theology. Classes will be held from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. The first seven sessions the group will be using My Conversations with Martin Luther by Timothy Lull. Cost of the book is $7 – payable to Prince of Peace. For the next six sessions the group will be reading excerpts from The Book of Concord, the confessional writings of the Lutheran Church. Newcomers are always welcome to attend these classes. Understanding Faith
Led by Pastor O'Malia
We will explore the true meaning and power behind Faith and Grace over six weekly sessions on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. beginning September 13. The class will be led by Pastor Karen. We will use Martin Luther’s Treatise, The Freedom of a Christian as a basis for our study. The cost of the study book is $7. Sign up sheets are on the desks at both entrances. Women of the Bible
Led by Jennifer Fisher
This Thursday evening class has focused on well-known women in the Bible. One of the past subjects was Eve. The first session will be Thursday, September 28; 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The topic for discussion and material will be selected at that time.
